Group Therapy

Group therapy is an effective form of counseling which is helpful for those such issues as alcohol addiction and substance abuse.  Most people use group therapy in addition to individual therapy. It provides a safe environment to discuss problems with others in similar circumstances. Typically, a trained group therapist guides the group discussion to allow group members share experiences and advice in a helpful way. Groups range for four to up to eight people and normally meet for one 1 ½ hours

Depending on client needs and demand, our Naperville office, Isenberg & Associates, does offers group therapy on a variety of topics. Most groups conducted in our office are formed for drug and alcohol addiction.  Occasionally, we also have groups for women's issues.
